Avis WooleyHello everyone, my name is Avis D. Brownlee-Wooley, and this is my very first blog. I am extremely excited to introduce myself to this new wave of communication.
I have been happily married for 39 years, have a beautiful family, and love writing. I am a medical laboratory scientist as well as a minister of the gospel of Christ.
I wrote my first book, Girls…God’s Best 4 U in August 2013, and I am publishing my second book. They both are published with WestBow Press, and I look forward to adding you to my ever-growing fan base. My first book is found online through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other sources. It is also available in e-book format. I hope you will check it out and maybe purchase one or more for yourself or someone you love.
This first book inspires young and older women, and yes, even boys have read the book. The book is in other countries such as Africa, India, Spain, and a few others, and the US. I am really blessed that God has given me this platform to minister or share my challenges and victories with others.
Friends, thank you ever so kindly for joining me and reading my first blog. A novice to blogging but not to writing. I have read other bloggers’ material and felt a sense of intimidation: thinking I might not measure up to that standard. I thought blogging was going to be a difficult task, but as I began to investigate the hows and the whats and started writing, I began to feel at ease and confident that this was something I could do.
I enjoy traveling, but since the pandemic, it has been cut to a screeching halt. Like everyone, I will be happy when we all can start congregating outside our confines more without the threat of getting infected.
